There Is One Only God

We believe with the heart, and confess with the mouth, that there is one only simple and spiritual Being, which we call God;  and that He is eternal, incomprehensible, invisible, immutable, infinite, almighty, perfectly wise, just, good, and the overflowing fountain of all good. (Belgic Confession Article 1- BCA1)

Prayer:

Father, thank you for revealing yourself to us and we have no excuses in knowing you exist. Help me to communicate all of your attributes to others in reverence, humility, and love. So they can believe in you.

Draw on our faith in God for all the truths and promises he provides under His providence and sustaining mercy and grace for strength in growing more in more in Christ centered living. Blessing and serving like Jesus. 

Prayer:

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. 🙏 (Jude 1:24-25 ESV)

Prayer:

 Father, thank you for our gift of redemption you have provided us from your original design and plan for humanity. Help me stay our perfect teacher, Lord and Savior Jesus. Our everything in life to be assuredly steadfast in the need for him, to be  in a humble attitude of repentence, and surrendering to the Holy Spirit guidance for our true identity in Jesus to understand the truth for our faith in God.

Trust In The Power of God’s Words

How did you hear the Gospel or God’s truths & promises:
Do not fear, only believe. Again, Jesus defines faith as the antidote to fear (Mark 2:5; 4:40; 5:34). In the face of death, this is a supreme challenge for any of us.

Prayer:
Father, quiet all distraction so that I can hear your voice. Strengthen my faith, and help me trust every word you speak.

These are matters which do have the appearance of wisdom in self-made religion and humility and severe treatment of the body, but are of no value against fleshly indulgence. (Colossians 2:23 NASB)

Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not just please ourselves. Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.

Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another, according to Christ Jesus, so that with one purpose and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
