# Preach the Word
But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion’s mouth. (2 Timothy 4:17 NASB)
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service, (1 Timothy 1:12 NASB)
but at the proper time revealed His word in the proclamation with which I was entrusted according to the commandment of God our Savior; (Titus 1:3 NASB)
But as for you, use self-restraint in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. (2 Timothy 4:5 NASB)
in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing. (2 Timothy 4:8 NASB)

But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance,
Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. (2 Timothy 3:1-2, 7, 10, 12 NASB)

# Be Strong Unashamed Workman
The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful people who will be able to teach others also. (2 Timothy 2:2 NASB)
Remind them of these things, and solemnly exhort them in the presence of God not to dispute about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the listeners. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:14-15 NASB)
Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His;” and, “Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to keep away from wickedness.” (2 Timothy 2:19 NASB)
Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be an implement for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, (2 Timothy 2:21,25 NASB)

Protect, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you. (2 Timothy 1:14 NASB)
However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. (Romans 8:9 NASB)
Timothy, protect what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly, empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge”— (1 Timothy 6:20 NASB)
“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells everything that he has, and buys that field. (Matthew 13:44 NASB)
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered fish of every kind; “Have you understood all these things?” They said to Him, “Yes.” And Jesus said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure new things and old.” (Matthew 13:45,47,51-52 NASB)
“13:44 like a [very precious] treasure. The main point here is the immense value of the kingdom, which far outweighs any sacrifice or inconvenience one might encounter on earth.”

But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. (1 Timothy 6:6 NASB)
he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a sick craving for controversial questions and disputes about words, from which come envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions, (1 Timothy 6:4 NASB)
But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness* . Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.*(1 Timothy 6:11-12 NASB)

Hebrews 12:4 NASB You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin;
1 Peter 2:11 NASB Beloved, I urge you as foreigners and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts, which wage war against the soul.
Jude 1:3 NASB Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all time handed down to the saints.

2 Corinthians 6:7 NASB in the word of truth, and in the power of God; by the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and the left,
2 Corinthians 10:4 NASB for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

# Spiritual Family \& Relationships
Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but rather appeal to him as a father, and to the younger men as brothers, to the older women as mothers, and to the younger women as sisters, in all purity. (1 Timothy 5:1-2 NASB)
Older men are to be temperate, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance. (Titus 2:2 NASB)
Likewise urge the young men to be sensible; in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us. (Titus 2:6-8 NASB)
But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.” (Luke 8:21 NASB)
For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for this reason He is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters, (Hebrews 2:11 NASB)

# A Good Servant In Christ
For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer. (1 Timothy 4:4-5 NASB)
The one who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and the one who eats, does so with regard to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and the one who does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat, and he gives thanks to God. (Romans 14:6 NASB)
By faith we understand that the world has been created by the word of God so that what is seen has not been made out of things that are visible. (Hebrews 11:3 NASB)
for bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have set our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all mankind, especially of believers. (1 Timothy 4:8,10 NASB)

A Call to Prayer
For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.
(1 Timothy 2:5-6 NASB)
yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him. (1 Corinthians 8:6 NASB)
Now after John was taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:14-15 NASB)

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from a sincere faith. (1 Timothy 1:5 NASB)
Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience—through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, (1 Peter 3:21 NASB)
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, putting me into service, (1 Timothy 1:12 NASB)
The grace of our Lord [His amazing, unmerited favor and blessing] flowed out in superabundance [for me, together] with the faith and love which are [realized] in Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 1:14 AMP)
Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost sinner Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life. (1 Timothy 1:16 NASB)
“believe in Him” – as stated over 185 times in the New Testament.
