# A Man of God
### Garden of Gethsemane
Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane (olive-press), and He told His disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” [37] And taking with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee [James and John], He began to be grieved and greatly distressed. [38] Then He said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, so that I am almost dying of sorrow. Stay here and stay awake and keep watch with Me.” [39] And after going a little farther, He fell face down and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible [that is, consistent with Your will], let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” [40] And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “So, you men could not stay awake and keep watch with Me for one hour? [41] Keep actively watching and praying that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.” [42] He went away a second time and prayed, saying, “My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.” [43] Again He came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. [44] So, leaving them again, He went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same words once more. [45] Then He returned to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Listen, the hour [of My sacrifice] is at hand and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners [whose way and nature is to oppose God]. [46] Get up, let us go. Look, My betrayer is near!” (Matthew 26:36-46 AMP)
Matthew 28:18-19 AMP Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Galatians 3:28 AMP There is [now no distinction in regard to salvation] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you [who believe] are all one in Christ Jesus [no one can claim a spiritual superiority].
Matthew 11:4-5 AMP Jesus answered, “Go and report to John what you hear and see: [5] the BLIND RECEIVE [their] SIGHT and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed [by healing] and the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the POOR HAVE THE GOSPEL PREACHED TO THEM.
Matthew 28:7 AMP Then go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee [as He promised]. There you will see Him; behold, I have told you.”
John 11:25-26 AMP Jesus said to her, “I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, relies on) Me [as Savior] will live even if he dies; [26] and everyone who lives and believes in Me [as Savior] will never die. Do you believe this?”
