We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Bible is God’s inspired Word. Humanity is sinful and needs salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, who died, rose, and will return. The Holy Spirit regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers believers. We are part of the universal Church and value local congregations.

  1. Core Beliefs: Our faith is grounded in the core doctrines of the Bible.
    • Trinity Godhead: We believe the doctrine of the Trinity is one of the great mysteries of God. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. While this truth transcends human understanding, it is essential to Christian faith. We trust in God’s revelation in Scripture, even as we acknowledge the limitations of our finite minds.
    • Incarnation: We believe the incarnation is the central mystery of the Christian faith. God, the eternal Son, became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. As Emmanuel, “God with us,” He dwelt among us, revealing God’s love and grace.
    • Atonement: We believe the atonement of Jesus Christ is the heart of the Christian faith. Through His sacrificial death, He redeemed humanity from sin and death. His death was a propitiation, satisfying God’s righteous demands against sin. This act of sacrificial love provides the only ground for salvation.
    • Substitutionary Death of Christ: We believe that salvation comes solely through faith in Jesus Christ, whose substitutionary death and resurrection provide the only ground for justification. Only those who receive Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and become God’s children.
    • Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, is the divine Comforter and Paraclete. He indwells believers, empowering them for service and guiding them into all truth. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and regenerates those who believe.
    • Scripture: We believe the Bible is God’s inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the final authority for Christian faith and life.
    • Salvation: We believe that salvation is the ultimate act of God’s redeeming love, delivering us from sin and death. It is a gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. This divine rescue is not earned by good works or human effort, but is solely by grace through faith.
    • Church Ecclesia: We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called together by the Holy Spirit. Its purpose is to glorify God, edify believers, and evangelize the lost. The local church is a visible expression of the universal Church, and its members are called to love one another, serve their community, and proclaim the Gospel to the world.
    • Spiritual Gifts: We believe that the spiritual gifts are real and continue to operate today. However, we must exercise discernment in identifying and using these gifts, ensuring they are exercised in love and for the glory of God.
    • Future Events: We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead. The righteous will inherit eternal life, while the unrighteous will face eternal condemnation. This future hope motivates us to live godly lives and to share the Gospel with others.
  2. Unity and Diversity: While we acknowledge diverse interpretations within our faith tradition, we are united by grace. We extend grace to one another, respecting differing viewpoints while holding firm to the core truths of the Gospel.
